Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1970 Dodge CHALLENGER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1970 Dodge CHALLENGER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: Complete Certification by Dave Wise2 Binders of documentationHighest restoration LevelBuild Sheets and all receiptsFeatured in Mopar MagazineThis is an extremely rare 1970 Challenger R/T with the V02 paint code (Painted white top option). Has had a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration. Ordered new at Courtesy Dodge in Raleigh North Carolina. this car was ordered with the R/T package. a 440 4bbl engine and the bullet proof Torqueflite automatic transmission. The desirable high impact colour of Plum Crazy Purple was selected with the white longitudinal striping and white interior finished off with what most initially believe is a white vinyl top. but it is in fact on closer inspection the very rare EW1 white painted roof(V02)! The uniqueness of this combination and the idea that it could in fact be the only Challenger ordered this way managed to attract my attention to how deserving of a painstaking restoration this car underwent. The quality of the craftsmanship on this car speaks for itself. look closely and you will see even the hood latch has been restored with a high degree of authenticity. No details were overlooked. It of course comes fully documented including the factory build sheet. ownership records back to new in the state of North Carolina. a photo diary of the car pre-restoration. during restoration and at its completion.
